A funny thing happened last week. I wrote a blog lamenting my fear of our new combined drip / espresso coffee machine and how after much procrastination, I figured out how to brew a pot (of drip coffee). The espresso part of the machine was a work in progress. A customer- Charlotte (pictured above with son Kyan) reached out (OMG someone other than my Mum reads my blog...). She was a barista at Starbucks for 3 years, lived nearby and would just love to make the team their favourite drinks. She was even happy to do it for some product. The perfect solution!
So Charlotte surprised the gang on Wednesday morning with espresso coffee. One slight hitch was the machine itself (curse you DeLonghi) ...it can only do two at a time before it shuts itself down...so 18 drinks took an hour to make.
Thanks so much Charlotte for giving up your morning to fuel the troops. We really appreciate it! I love these spontaneous ways of interacting with our gPeeps! I wonder else we can do that? It should be so much more than just a company and a customer.
And to CFO Jeff, a clear case hase been made for buying one of these bad boys (pitcured below), hasn't it? Jeff? Are you there? Jeff?
