We (the family and Mum all the way from Oz) are travelling to Phoenix this weekend to catch up with more family and run a marathon. I booked a 4 door car but then realized it wasn't going to be big enough. Just called Avis. The only car left on the lot for this weekend, given that 10,000 people are flying in to run was...a Hummer. Oh the conflict. To slide behind the wheel of one of those hideous gas guzzlers... just for a day, in a state that nobody knows me in...oh the temptation. As a Prius driver I often get the sense that a Hummer could actually drive right over me without any issues. I just wanted to test the theory...really.
Changed rental car companies and we are now set in a famly wagon. So close.
Wow, pretty impressive environmental move. Good on ya!

Smart move - for your conscience and for the planet. Hey, I tracked my first gDiapers order and it's waiting for me at home! Can't wait to give it a test drive on the baby. Thanks for bringing the concept to America.

Dear Jen,
No matter how green a guy is, there appears to be a continual yearning to get behind the wheel of an enormous machine and commandeer the road. I spent every waking hour last year searching for construction sites to satisfy my 2 year old son...2 and he is obsessed with large machinery!
Please call me if you have any questions about the diapers. We have just revamped our FAQ's to help with fit, leaking and flushing. Thrilled that you are a giving them a go. Be sure to sign up as a Pioneer. We will be offering freebies (Australian for free things) and asking you for your input as we improve the existing product and roll out new ones.
Cheers

I was forced to drive an SUV for a one week business trip to Dallas a few months ago. It was primarily to move some computer equipment within the city. As a regular public transit rider and bicyclist, I felt embarrased to drive this, even though half the vehicles there were SUVs. Fortunately, I left it in the hotel parking lot most of the time and took their public transit when that was available.
I ordered my first gDiapers today for my 10 month girls. Look forward to using it next week when it comes. Currently using a Fuzzi Bunz cloths and 7th Generation disposables.

I once specifically called around my local area to find a dentist that wasn't the one who drove the obnoxious Hummer with the "hummer doc" liscence plate around town. I know go to "honda doc."
My point? As a customer of yours, you made a good PR move!
(oh, and on another note...my first year in portland was the worst as far as the rain being depressing. Once you get through the first year and kind of get into the rhythm of the seasons, it gets a bit better. But, MAN, it has been raining a lot this season!)

Hi Jason - Do you have twins? You legend!Let me know how you go. We are at the ready with tips on fit and flushing!
Lisa - did you come from a dry climate ot begin with?
We are in Phoenix this weekend and it is heaven weatherwise...lotta cactus though!
The Toyota Sienna is a tank compared to a Prius but the mileage must be better than a Hummer.
Cheers
