We had a great two days with the team from Every Mother Counts last week. Christy, Erin & Wei Wei were superb. To wrap up our time together, we fulfilled a lifelong wish of Christy's...building a pyramid!
The crew gave me a bouquet of kale and broccoli for my birthday today. A perfect gift given the past twelve months of transformation...I have been downing a head of kale with two raw eggs, berries, apple juice and flax seed oil over that time along while presiding over some big changes all over the place. Much more to come on that front!
(And yes, I am off to get a haircut - the Barry Manilow look is not helping...)
Today our youngest son, Harper turned 8 while I turned an age a little bit north of that. His brother bought him a monogrammed robe and slippers that gives him that Thurston Howell III vibe.
Harpo swam into this world in the office at gHQ in those manic years where life = g and g = life. We are working hard on changing that but as Founders know, differentiating away from that you have worked so hard on doesn't come easily and is in fact difficult to see.
We are celebrating with a boys weekend this weekend in Las Vegas to watch the Sevens Rugby. The boys have never been to Vegas so it should be a ton of fun.
(PS - Typepad is putting in hyperlinks all by itself and I have no idea how to kill it - sorry!)
