We've spent a bunch of time working on a diaper truly built for newborns. Presenting the Tiny g. So popular in fact that like the Wii and I suspect the iPad soon, we are out of stock...sorry! But they are darn cute and work great. We have even accommodated the umbilical cord with a snap down feature. Photos thanks to gMum Alexi Majors who had her Tiny g's handy in the hospital. The disposables the hospital were using were giving her brand new bub a rash.
After 5 years in the States running gDiapers, Kim & I are closing in on a work-life balance solution. We have made many attempts but this is the plan that is working for us...nanny arrives at 5.30am, Kim and I evacuate to office to work a 6am - 3pm day. Nanny manages the household, get the kids up, fed and to school and she is done by 9.30am. We pick the kids up from school at 3.30pm and have a solid 5 hours with them before bed. That means mid-week movies, all-family cooking events and 100% kid -focused time. So far so good.
We are also actually exploring Oregon on the weekends. This weekend we are in Bend, skiing at Mt Bachelor. It seems the more we relax on the weekend, the smarter we work during the week. Will keep you posted!
