An interesting article from the Aussie business press. Having spent the past week in Sydney and witnessing record property auction results in some suburbs, the "GFC" (Global Financial Crisis as it is called there) appears to have missed Down Under entirely. Chinese demand for Australia's resources have certainly helped.
To the three people who read my blog, I'd just like to say how sorry I am that in 2009, along with the US financial system, my Typepad-powered blog flat lined.
Here's the problem. When Facebook and Twitter's user interface is so slick that you can post from your mobile device quickly, Typepad loses. When Typepad changes how you post so dramatically and makes it so complicated, Typepad loses. And when Typepad rocks up to the social media party really late with this attempt at a "Quick Compose" feature (see below) which is neither quick nor let's you actually compose anything, Typepad loses.
