The team here at gLand were lucky enough to get tickets to a preview of the 11th Hour this week.
It rocked.
Leonardo DiCaprio’s new feature-length documentary is a must-see film about
the environmental crises caused by people and the impact on the planet.
Apart from defining the cumulative impact of these actions on the planet,
the documentary directed by Leonardo DiCaprio, Nadia Conners and Leila
Conners Peterson, goes further, asking all of us to make a shift in our
thinking, including how products are designed, produced and ultimately
disposed of. If that sounds a lot like the philosophy behind our
Cradle-to-Cradle certification, it’s because it is. Like the film says, “We
are the generation that gets to change the world.” A tall order to be sure
but well worth the effort.
Go see “The 11th Hour.” As a gDiaper user you’re already aware of the impact
of every little thing on the planet. So, pat yourself on the back for doing
something to make a difference. Then tell everyone you know and even some
folks you don’t to please see this film. If you are Portland Oregon based, get along to Cinema 21
on NW 21st on August 31 for the premiere.
PS: Celeb actress Josie Maran who attended the L.A. premiere is a gDiapers mum. She emailed, called and everything! We're all a bit star struck!! Thanks Josie
